International Human Rights
As a member of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission (set up by the Shadow Foreign Secretary), I help to highlight international human rights concerns and to inform, advise and develop a human rights based foreign policy, with freedom of the individual and human dignity at its heart.
The area I cover for the CPHRC is Tibet. I initiated the Party's campaign against human trafficking. I support the Stop the Traffik coalition and have set up a Freedom Wall campaign which we used at Spring Forum and in other constituencies.
