Small pink flower wave handmade by me in my studio in Ivybridge. This wave has been decorated with murrini in shades of pink and purple.
The wave has taken approximately over 24 hours in the kiln with temps over 760 C for the initial firing. When the firing is completed and the glass is cool enough to touch it is inspected to make sure that it has passed my quality control to be put in for the final firing. This final firing takes over 24 hours and this is where the glass is then placed on a former to take the shape of the wave.
The wave measures approximately 15 cm long and 8 cm high.
No 2 pieces are ever the same due to the handmade process.
